Material Modeling

Basing from the word "freedom", i focused on the idea that freedom is not something that can be easily obtained, nor is it the same for everyone.
I conveyed this idea by setting a man in this wasteland, where his idea of freedom can be considered as a place green natural trees, a blue sky that's not covered in dust, and easily accessible clean fresh water. However as stated before freedom is not something that can be obtained easily. As seen in the middle of this poster this man is only able to achieve his "freedom" by chiseling through a massive wall.

Based from the same idea where "freedom" is not something that can be easily obtained, nor is it the same for everyone. Is model aims to highlight the contrast between freedom and no freedom, where one side we have a solid path with it's width of the path, the direction, and height of wall of the path is all pre-determined. Not only this, but bars are run horizontally above and below the path forming a cage like figure, projecting the idea of eternally trapped within 4 large walls.
However on the other side of the model, once seeing how trapped and confined one space can be, "freedom" from this can be understood as being completely surrounded by nothing.
